Surajkund Mela 2024: The Surajkund Fair, held every year in February, is eagerly awaited by art lovers as well as travel lovers. This year the fair is starting from 2nd February. This fair is organized for 17 days and will end on 18th February. The 37th International Surajkund Handicraft Fair will be inaugurated by President Draupadi Murmu. Special things to see in Surajkund Handicraft Fair?
This time a confluence of arts and culture from India and abroad will be seen in the fair. Artists will be seen entertaining the audience with folk dance and singing. This time, about 40 countries from Africa, Europe and Asia, are going to participate in the fair. That means, apart from India, you will also get a chance to come closer with the handicrafts and folk arts of other countries. Weaving styles and handlooms of many countries will also be seen.
Free ferry service will also be available to reach the fair from the nearby metro stations and parking places. Not only adults but children can also come and enjoy this fair. Kid’s zone has been created here for them. In which children will be able to enjoy different types of swings and rides.

This year the theme of Surajkund Handicraft Fair has been kept based on the state of Gujarat. Gujarat has been chosen as the theme state of the fair for the second time. Earlier in the year 1997 also, Gujarat was the theme of the fair. Preparations for the fair are being made here according to the theme.

Surajkund Handicraft Fair Ticket Price
The ticket price of the fair has been fixed according to the day. For this you will have to pay Rs 120 from Monday to Friday i.e. week days, whereas on Saturday and Sunday i.e. weekends you will have to pay Rs 180.
How to book tickets?
Surajkund International Handicraft Fair tickets can be booked through all online booking platforms. Contrary to it, you can also buy it from here. Tickets will be available at all entry gates of the fair. Entry will be free for freedom fighters and student groups. College girls and senior citizens are likely to get some percent discount.
A total of 6 gates have been designated for entry into the fair. In which 3 gates are for the general public and the other 3 gates are for VVIP, VIP and media.
