Despite of Corona virus pandemic, Kumbh Mela is going on at Haridwar . It is the largest fair in the world where people use to come from all over the country and the world in order to attend it. As per belief, it is said that all the sins of men are washed away with a dip of faith in the holy rivers on royal bath day.
On this eve, people use to take bath in the holy rivers, including the Ganges. In the meantime, the number of infected people is increasing veryfast due to the second wave of Corona virus. Because of this, new guidelines have been issued by the State Government. Let us know the new guideline before proceeding to
Haridwar for a royal bath.
It is well known fact that Haridwar is a center of attraction for devotees. Devotees visit Haridwar certainly on other days too. Unlike this, tourists use to come to visit Haridwar in large numbers. In view of this, the state government has declared RT-PCR mandatory for the people of 12 states to come with corona negative test. Under this rule, it will be mandatory for tourists and devotees to bring negative test report with them.
CM Tirath Singh Rawat informed in details about this and said that all the devotees will have to follow the guidelines strictly issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs.
As per news, it is mandatory to bring RT-PCR negative test for people of Maharashtra, Kerala, Punjab, Karnataka, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Haryana, Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh, Delhi and Rajasthan before entering in Haridwar.
Also, RT-PCR negative test will be valid only which has been performed within 72 hours. If a person does not have an RT-PCR negative test report or more than 72 hours old, he / she will not be allowed to enter Haridwar. Let us tell you that there is a royal bath on 12, 14, 27 April and a huge number of devotees are expected to reach on this day. Very tough rules have been made to overcome the.problems.
