Rules for hajj pillgrims

There is big a news for pilgrims proceeding for Haj during the Corona period. Now the corona vaccination is mandatory for Hajj pilgrims going to Mecca-Medina. This is as per declaration of Hajj Committee of India. In simple words the Haj pilgrims, without both dose of vaccination, will not be able to proceed.

This important decision was shared by Maqsood Ahmad of Haj Committee of India, who said that this instruction has been taken by Saudi Arabia based Indian Consulate  The vaccination has to be arranged by the passengers themself those applying for Haj pilgrimage. Haj pilgrims have to be ensured that both the vaccines are completed before going to Mecca-Medina.

Earlier last year, entry of foreign Hajj pilgrims was banned by the Saudi Arabian government in order to prevent the spreading of the corona virus pandemic. Because of this, only local citizens were permitted to perform Haj. This year, The Haj pilgrimage will begin from the evening on 17th of July and will last in the evening on 22nd of July. It is well known to all  that due to the second wave of corona virus pandemic, the number of infected people has been increased. Due to this, tourism can also be affected but till date, no final decision has come out so far about the Haj pilgrimage.

What is Haj

It has got special significance in the religion of Islam and this pilgrimage iakes place in the last month of every year in Zil Hijjah. Both men and women have got the provision of performing Haj pilgrimage once in their lifetime which is as per the religion of Islam, It is a symbol of unity and faith in Islam. For this, Muslims across the world, reach Saudi Arabia. Currently, the holy month of Ramadan is going on.
