There are many temples in India where flow of visitors are seen throughout the year . Tirupati Balaji temple is one of them which is located in Andhra Pradesh. Lord Venkateswara is generally considered to be an incarnation of Lord Vishnu. Here Lord Vishnu is sitting with his wife, mother Lakshmi. This grand temple, built on the hills of Tirumala, is considered to be one of the 8 Swayambhu temples of Lord Vishnu.

The main part of the temple, is Ananda Niliyam, has very attractive appearance. A seven-foot tall statue of Lord Sri Venkateswar has been installed in Ananda Niliyam whose face is in east. The above gopuram is covered with Gold Plate. The three walls of the temple are mounted with golden urns. The main gate of the temple, with a quadrilateral base, is also known as the Padi Kavali Mahadwar.

3 lakh laddus are made here every day

The secret kitchen of this place is known as Potu. In this kitchen, 3 lakh laddus are made everyday for daily offerings. These laddus are prepared by the artisans using 300-year-old traditional method. Laddus in the temple are made only made from the milk of cow of Punganur species. This has been going on for years. There are a total of 130 Pungnur cows in Palamner farm house in Chittoor, Andhra Pradesh. From here Milk is sent daily to the Tirupati temple from here. At the same time, Prasad is prepared thrice daily in the temple. Except Laddus, curd and rice Prasad is given free of cost. Prasad is distributed three times a day, made of rice and curd.

It is believed that the black divine statue of Lord Venkateswara ,installed in the temple here, is not made by any one, but it was revealed from the ground itself and so it has a lot of recognition. It is believed that the sound of the sea waves is heard from this statue, present in the temple. Also, Venkatanchal mountain are considered as the image of God, by the people, and hence they do not carry the shoes on it.

It is believed that Tirupati Balaji is the incarnation of Lord Vishnu and by pleasing him, the grace of Goddess Lakshmi is achieved automatically and all the problems are over. It is believed that the person who leaves all sins and evils from his mind here, Goddess Lakshmi eliminates all the sorrows. Therefore, people offer their hair here in the form of all their evils and sins. Also, devotees donate their hair here even after completing the desired will.
