The helpline numbers has been issued by the Uttarakhand Tourism Development Council for Char Dham Yatra in order to facilitate the pilgrims for any information related to it and a Control Room has been set up for it where all the necessary information will be made available to the pilgrims right from registration, weather conditions , travel routes and all other important information.
As per Deputy Director UTDB, Yogendra Kumar Gangwar said that pilgrims can contact toll free number 1364 or 0135-1364 (for other states) and helpline numbers 0135-2559898, 0135-2552627 and 0135-3520100 of Chardham control room.
With this facility one can get information about registration, status of travel routes, weather information, booking status, online booking and helicopter service etc.
Gajendra Chauhan of Tourist Safety Management System said that pilgrims can do on line registration also on the web site issued by the state Government at https://registrationandtouristcare.uk.gov.in. The system of registration and verification is being made available to the pilgrims through online and offline mode.
The pilgrims and their vehicles can be easily tracked along with their safety with the help of a wrist band made of QR code which will be scanned in the Dhams. With help of this QR code, the tourism department will come to know about the location of each and every traveler.
